There’s a cycle of loss of hate – which culminates into terrible situations like we see in some sections of our world today. Religious extremists who lost loved ones due to Western incursions might point fingers at the West, and take up arms in retribution. Someone who lost a loved one to terrorist bombings might point fingers at particular religions, even if the majority of its practitioners are peaceful, which would give credence to governmental narratives justifying intervention in another country. Ask anyone who lost loved ones to bigoted hate – just as Rosa lost her father because some humans decided to shoot first before asking questions later when he was clearly in the process of saving a young boy. But her personal circumstances are understandable. Rosa’s reasoning feels like sophistry to me – in that because humans behaved with prejudice, it justifies the prejudice of the Grotesque. But the outcome is inevitable, because having placed their trust in Rosa to help them escape, their venture was doomed from the get go. At first, the group avoid becoming ambushed by the human hunters – which allows for momentary relief. “Those Who Protect and Those Who Threaten”Īuntie Rosa betrays the group, and it goes just as expected. It's not even a problem on Tablet anyways. The only thing real books have over digital ones is the ability to read for hours without getting your eyes drained, and maybe the nice feeling of holding and touching it with your hands, but paged mode emulate none of that, it only make you flip pages when you could scroll through them, and you'd have to jump around and zoom-in/out every now and then to read small panels, which is rarely the case for the long-strip where you only need to make the pages fit the width of the screen and you're golden.「護る者と牙剥く者」 ( Mamoru Mono to Kiba Muku Mono) It is made to emulate the flipping of a book. holy fuck does the reader suck, and there is no long-strip mode? seriously are you expecting me to click tens of times to turn pages every chapter? I never understood why would anyone want to use the paged mode over the long-strip, who even invented that shit to begin with? shit's unpractical af. Please let me know if you encounter issues and you are not in Japan. All other locations should be able to access normally. We hope everyone will give the Free Manga service a try-and keep an eye on it for new titles, too!Įdit: Unfortunately, Japan is excluded from the Free Manga service. Finally, of the titles we have so far, not all chapters will be made available for free if you'd like to continue reading the series beyond the free chapters, you will need to purchase those volumes from eBook sellers. Titles will also not be fixed: series will disappear some time after the last free chapters have been made available, replaced by first chapters of new series. How does it work? The Free Manga service acts similar to a magazine: chapters will be made available on specific time cycles, so you can't read all chapters at once. While the service has opened with only five manga series, our goal is to keep expanding the catalogue with the support of publishers. With this Free Manga service, we hope to create more opportunities for all MyAnimeList users to read manga and discover new titles. We know many of our users live in countries with small licensed manga markets or are otherwise unable to easily access manga legally. Thanks to the support of the series' publishers who made this service possible, we are also excited to announce that the service is open to our world-wide community. MyAnimeList has just launched a brand new Free Manga service with manga chapters from five titles-available for free! All you need is a MyAnimeList account and you're ready to start reading.
